Return on equity
Net profit for the period divided by average shareholders’ equity.
Return on operating capital
EBIT as a percentage of average operating capital.
EBIT
Operating profit after depreciation and amortisation.
EBIT margin
EBIT as a percentage of net sales.
EBITDA
Operating profit before depreciation and amortisation.
EBITDA margin
EBITDA as a percentage of net sales.
Equity per share
Average shareholders’ equity divided by average number of
outstanding shares.
Capital turnover rate
Net sales divided by average operating capital.
Net debt
Interest bearing liabilities (including pensions) minus cash
and cash equivalents.
Net debt/equity ratio
Net debt divided by shareholders’ equity.
Operating capital
Shareholders’ equity plus net debt.
Operating cash flow
Cash flow from operating activities excluding acquistion and restructuring costs adjusted for net financial items and income tax paid, plus cash flow from investing activities, excluding acquisition of business enterprises.
Equity/asset ratio
Equity divided by total assets (balance sheet total).
Earnings per share
Net profit divided by average number of outstanding shares.
Annual average
Average of year-beginning and year-end balance.
