Bag filters are designed to be cleaned when they are clogged not replaced. Bag filters are normally cleaned by manually cleaning, mechanical shaking, reverse air, or by air pulse.
Manual cleaning dust collectors require the user to take out the media and manually remove the dust from the filter. These budget dust collectors are usually used in small shops.
These filters clean by a high pressure blast of air to remove dust from the bags
The reverse air flow cause relaxation of the filter bag and the dust cake to crumble and release into the hopper. Upon the completion of the cleaning process, dirty air flow continues and the bag regains its shape.

Woodworking in the form of sawing, planing, sanding and other operations involves very large amounts of sawdust and sanding dust. To handle these large flows of wood waste safely and efficiently, Nederman has developed a wide range of products and systems based on filters, piping / ducting, fans, conveyors, silos and automated control systems. In addition to achieving a good working environment, these systems make it possible for customers to recycle wood waste, which represents a large economic value. When converted into pellets, waste products can be used for energy production or be sold as an energy source.
Sawing and planning produces big quantities of wood waste. To deal with high volumes and continuous processes complete dust free waste handling systems can be engineered to suit your requirements. Closed loop transport systems for silo storage, or automated discharge into single or multiple box-cart stations may be specified.

Nederman offers a variety of vacuum solutions for extracting and managing l sawdust and other types of wood waste directly at the source. Extractors can be fitted directly to machines or to hand held tools.
We also offer convenient and flexible Quick Fit piping / ducting, ATEX approved dampers and rotary valves.
For general cleaning Nederman offers both stationary and mobile high vacuum systems that are ATEX approved.
To suit our customers’ needs we manufacture and supply a flexible range of filters for continuous or non-continuous use, with different air flow capacities and different discharge options. Low volume waste processes may discharge directly into purpose made bins.
Nederman offers a variety of high vacuum solutions for extracting and managing large volumes of sawdust and other types of wood waste directly at the source. Extractors can be fitted directly to machines or to hand held tools in. We also offer convenient and flexible Quick Fit ducting/piping, ATEX approved dampers and rotary valves.
