The lime feeder type NFKG-70 is incorporated as a part element in a filter system, dosing a pre-coat like lime into the filter. The adding of lime ensures a stable function of the filter and prevents clogging of the filtered material.

The lime feeder type NFKG-70 contains approximately 70 kg of lime and is equipped with a level indicator which indicates shortage of lime. The lime feeder feeds approximately 15 g of lime per movement, depending on the humidity of the lime.

Typical dosing is approximately 1 g/m3 air. This gives for instance 1 stroke per 54 seconds at 1000 m3/h and 1 stroke per 11 seconds at 5000 m3/h. The optimal dosage depends on the application.
The controller is preset to give a continuously feeding of lime for approx. 5 minutes when starting up the filter in order to saturate the filter material.

The lime feeder type NFKG-70 is supplied without the mixing chamber (T-duct), which must be ordered as separate item.
