In 2018 alone there were over 250 reported factory fires or explosions related to combustible dust in the world. Many of those could have been prevented. If industry workers had been fully informed about the risk factors, proper dust collectors and explosion safety devices had been installed and digital monitoring of the air filtration status, capacity, and maintenance had been done.
